Mooney's Restaurant & Bar

We heard this restaurant had Hard Cider and that is what made us give it a try. It was our lucky night as we all had awesome food and drinks. The owner was friendly and heard about our comment that we hoped our Long Island Ice teas came in a glass as big as our water glass. She complied much to our amazement and it was top notch and Scrummpy's Hard Cidar rivaled the one served in Ireland. We all had different meals and we all tasted each others as we were so pleased with the taste and quality. The homemade clam chowder was delicious as well as the toasted glaric bread that was brought to the table. The tri tip sandwhich was loaded with meat and cheese and dipping juice. You could have fries,onion rings or homemade potato chips or a combo of any of these without paying extra. The meatloaf was to die for, very light and packed with flavor and homemade mashed potatoes so obviously freshly made. Our food did not come out the quickest of times but the quality so showed that everything was freshly made. All four of us are so going back.

The food is wonderful, the restaurant is intimate, the prices are in line with an intimate, exclusive restaurant.
