Swedish Massage
Geriatric Massage Therapy is massage for the aging client. It is different from massage for the younger clientele because specific precautions must be taken to ensure safety to the client is a priority. Often times there are health issues and sometimes even contraindications such as Osteoporosis or Diabetes or Joint replacements. Each geriatric client is carefully screened to ensure that all health conditions and concerns are discussed and a proper treatment plan is devised. Typically a very light Swedish Massage is appropriate and just enough to make the client feel relaxed and pampered, as well as, safely increase their circulation and offer a caring positive touch. The geriatric massage session typically lasts one hour and can be extended, if appropriate, to 90 minutes and combined with Reflexology or Healing Touch.

A gentle manipulation, which locates and corrects imbalances in the craniosacral system. The craniosacral system is made up of the brain, spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid, Dural membrane, cranial bones, and the sacrum. It is a closed hydraulic system that moves with minimal but perceptible rhythmic fluctuation. The craniosacral system exists in humans and all animals with a brain and spinal cord. Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular massage is an intense form of bodywork that consists of focused, concentrated pressure on one specific area of the body. The pressure may continue for a period of up to thirty seconds at a time, and is designed to alleviate tension that extends from a "trigger point" into an entire muscle.
