The Lodge Luxury Apartment Homes

I am a student at NAU and I moved in with my boyfriend and roomates in may of 2007. The staff was very helpful and made moving in very easy. However, once we moved in our neighbors upstairs would call and complain that we were too loud....when nobody would be home, at three in the afternoon! Quiet hours weren't even until 10. We received numerous notices about noise and anything else they could possibly pin on us and were facing eviction without even coming to see our side of the story. The neighbors upstairs in the meantime would stomp on the ceiling and vacuum at five thirty in the morning right over our bed. When we called to complain we were shoved aside. After they moved out in December 07 there was no more complaints against us. (when our other neighbors were asked, they said they hardly ever heard noise from us). Our hot water heater went out in January 08 and it took two weeks to fix. Later in February, our apartment flooded, and we had black mold. The complex tried to charge us to replace the carpets when we moved out because of water damage that occurred from the exploded water heater. By far it is the worst place I've ever lived in. I would not recommend it to any students, they say they are student friendly until you move in and then its all downhill from there.
