Operational for more than 60 years, FMT, also known as Findlay Machine & Tool, manufactures engineered and fabricated systems and components. It serves the automotive, electronic, metal finishing, stamping, casting, forging, transportation, earthmoving, aerospace, aircraft, appliance and rental industries. The company operates a more than 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that provides design, fabrication, material handling, pre-owned equipment cleaning, piping, rigging and thermal treatment services. Its engineering department provides in-field services for the installation, startup and maintenance of specialized products and treatment systems. FMT offers a range of products that includes rotary drums and baskets, engine blocks, automation equipment and ultrasonic systems. It has a machine shop that features bridge ports, manual lathes, computer numerical control mills and lathes and surface grinders. The company is ISO 9001:2000-certified.
