Dr. April B Tyler, DO

I am a serious psychiatric patient who have several comorbid diseases. When I started to see Dr Tyler, I was a complete mess. All of the physicians I had seen as to date had basically given up on me when they found out the diagnosis was difficult to find. Dr Tyler listened carefully to each of my complaints and explained to me what it was and what drug could provide relief. She uses different approaches that other physicians wouldn't even think to try. Unfortunately, I lost my insurance so I had to discontinue treatment but I have new insurance and have an appt next week!

I went to Dr. April Tyler to have a sebacious sist removed off of my face. She did not do a biopsy on it to make sure it was in fact a sebacious sist. She made an appt. for me to have the sist removed. She removed what she thought was the sist but did not remove it all. She then had to cut my face a second time and said she got it the second time. My face was still raised and look terrible. I could not figure out why she oculd not get this thing. I go back to her a 3rd time and she says she didn't get the sist AGAIN!!! So I was like ok this is the last straw and I am going to go get a 2nd opinion. They did a biopsy and found that my sist had not come back but that it was just very thick scar tissue from her cutting my face up. I now have a nasty looking scar because she wanted to make $250 off of me. My face is now scarred for the rest of my life because of this woman. I would never go to her again. I have to now pay to get injections on my faec once a month just to get the thickness to go down. This has been a year and half process for all this mess and I will still have this scar. I am just trying to make it look better. UGH!

Dr. Tyler has been my family doctor now for 10 years. I have always had a really good doctor but April is the best. If there is something wrong she will not give up until she finds it.
