Went to urgent care to bring my wife there to rule out pneumonia and get chest X-ray
What a great place Dr Dake is a great doctor with a great bedside manner rest of staff friendly also
Dr Dake is Very knowledgeable and really cares about patients
As an ER Nurse I know good care versus bad
I would recommend this place and Dr Dake
Only downside is a one hour wait
But you would have to wait longer in ER and they would do a bunch of unnecessary tests

Amazing doctor, nice staff. I went there with a soar throat. I was diagnosed with strep throat. It is true I was there for about an hour and a half, but the Doctor takes his time with each patient, so it is understandable. I would recommend to anyone.

Stood outside the door in the freezing cold with my infant confused as to why you would occasionally lock your doors due to short staffing? And then literally sit there staring at me ignoring the phone as you watch me calling? How am I to know when you will unlock your doors? How absurd and unprofessional! There goes this urgent care's reliability! I understand life happens and short staffing is a thing, but to lock your doors and not answer your phone when there is obviously an ill patient outside needing some answers on when you WILL be available? Absolutely terrible. Next time leave more details on the door or leave your doors unlocked and turn patients away. I will never attempt to visit this UC again and will share this story with everyone I know.

I came mid afternoon so I knew the wait would be long but the people were all professional, and apologized for the wait. The nurse practitioner did a great job and was very personable. 2nd time there and was very pleased.

We have never been to an after hours clinic or emergency room before, so didn't know what to expect. But my husband won't miss work and had been sick with a terrible cough and flu for over a week. Our Doctor always says, "its a virus" and does not like to give any antibiotics. He went in, was there 25 minutes, got a shot and a z pack and paid our $35 co pay, and was back home in bed in no time. This was on a Sunday afternoon, no missed work! We were very impressed. He had bronchitis. They even called the script in and we picked it up on our way home. I still think a family Doctor is very important, but this worked out well for him in this case.

Every time we have gone in here to be seen we are greeted with cold, rude receptionists and nurses (?) Was sick as a dog with vomit on my shirt and they saw people that walked in way after me, and NOT UNTIL THE JANITORIAL STAFF WALKED IN DID THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS THERE. My infection was so severe that the doctor immediately called an ambulance to rush me to the ER. Incompetent receptionists, avoid this place at all costs.

BAD BAD BAD! Do Not go to Hometown. Just got my bill for a office call for $289.00 and when I called wondering why it was so expensive they said that's what we charge so pay it! All I got was a doctor looking in my ears and listening to my chest and giving me a script. Do not recommend. Oh, the meds the doctor gave me didn't help me get better.

Horrible service and rude. Waited 2 hours to get back with only 3 people in front of us. Hey staff everyone in the lobby can hear you all bickering about your personal situations. They need to clean house with the current staff.

I will give this Urgent Care 3 stars because the MA that took care of me the first time that I went in was very nice and made sure that I got the care that I deserved. I think that her name was Lindsey. The doctor on that day in late last fall was amazing. He made sure that I got the meds that I needed and within days my horrible cold that I had was gone. The two stars that are missing are from my most recent trip to this clinic. After the last visit late last fall I always told myself if I needed to see a Doctor I would go there seeing as I do not have a primary physician. I arrive at the clinic wait was not very long. But then the horrible visit began. The doctor that seen me was HORRIBLE!! She was always questioning herself and if she was not questioning herself then she was questioning the other workers in the clinic. The MA this time that seen me was slow and took her time and it seemed like she had the attitude that I was there for her, not that she was here for me. I guess go to this clinic and hope that you have a confident doctor and MA take care of you.

This is the worst place to go....the first visit was because my son couldnt hear out of one of his ears...they cleaned one ear out and the ear that brought us there was not cleaned so he could hear. we left with the same problem as when we walked in.they told him to go home and work on it. THAT was the reason for the visit. Two weeks later we returned because he had caught the flu. He informed the Doctor (a different one) that he still couldnt hear out of that ear and that Doctor(I am saying that loosely) told him to go home and put peroxide in it ...and then they bill my insurance for surgery services WHAT! REALLY! Now I have a 125.00 bill I HAVE TO PAY..and it wasnt even a surgery involved...I called my insurance company they dont care BUT I do..this is exactly why we have outrages insurance bills ...Take me to court Hometown Urgent care cause you are NOT getting nothing more from me..the question at the top says "If I told my Bestfreind about this place I'd say" ...RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN TO ANOTHER Doctor. one that would care cause clearly THEY DONT THEY ARE ONLY AFTER THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then I would give them a minus ten star rating but this doesnt give you that option

Don't ever go here. Their serv...

Don't ever go here. Their service is truly deplorable. I went here not feeling too well and I wanted just a simple check up. My doctor was a cripple man on crutches who was hard of hearing and didn't understand me at all. He didn't really look at me, he just told me I had an ear infection gave me some antibiotics and sent me home. I go home and have an allergic reaction to the antibiotics and I come back a few days later. The wait was horrible, and then when I was finally seen they gave me a nurse who had the dirtiest hair ever. She didn't look at all professional. Then the actual person who saw me afterward kept asking questions about my insurance, why it took me so long to see a doctor and nothing quite relevant. He was arrogant and rude. When he checked my breathing he told me nothing was wrong (even though I kept stressing that I couldn't breathe well) but as soon as he found out I had good insurance he said he thought I had something serious going on and that it can't be an allergic reaction an referred me to the ER (so he can fill his pockets).

Please just avoid this place. You're better off going to a hospital.

deceiving doctor

I will never to back to nor recommend this office to anyone. If you want the best care you will not get it here. I was visiting from out of town and my daughter came down with a very bad rash that continued to get worse. Long story short, we waiting 2 hours although there was only one other patient who ran out crying with her newborn. She had no bedside manner, did a scrape test on my daughter (with a razor) and yelled at her to stop crying and totally I believe purposely misdiagnosed her. Why...because we came in five minutes before the office closed. She then prescribed medications for her diagnosis to all 5 family members...one being a five year old...all of this without seeing any of us. After I read up on what she diagnosed her with I was very scared as it is something very serious and can be fatal. When I got home the next day I took her to our family doctor and she told me she had poison ivy...something common that any doctor should recognize immediatly. My doctor was very upset and appalled that this lady who calls herself a doctor would do this to a little girl. I still question whether she is truly a doctor. If you live in the area...and need a physician...PLEASE for the safety of you and your family...drive a few extra miles to a different facility. It will be worth it. And on a side note, I didn't let this situation be swept under the rug! Stand up for yourself if you feel you were poorly treated or diagnosed. Protect yourself and know your rights.

Bad Service/ Wacky Doctor

I have taken my child to this Urgent Care a couple of times and decided not to go back. I believe she has been drunk each time I have been in there. Her eyes are glossay and red and she makes really weird sounds when she is with her patients. It makes my son uncomfortable. Besides that the wait is horrible. The last time I was there we got in around 5pm, no one was in the waiting room and we waited until 7:30pm to have them put us in a room. Then we waited until almost 8:30 pm before the doctor came in. Each time I have been there it has taken 3-4 hours from start to finish no matter how many people are waiting. I would recommend either the Mclaren Urgent care or Hurley. Both are much faster and better doctors with less wait!
