Grifols Talecris - Plasma Donation Center

I researched this and thought it would be great to donate my plasma and get paid to do it. So I made an appointment took time off work to go and waited about 20 minutes to be called. (I arrived 20 minutes early because I thought there would be paperwork to fill out). I brought all the necessary ID, and went up to the desk when called. The lady asked me to verbally verify my physical address, which I did. She said she will be right back. She returned with a map and said I could not donate. I asked why and she said because you live outside our radius. I asked her how this made any difference, she just said that is our rule. Now I live 60 miles away from this site, but I work 10 miles away and drive by this site everyday. I guess helping someone stay alive is only good if you live within a radius of their facility.
