These guys were fantastic! We had such an easy move with them. Professional, cheery, fun and efficient. I got an estimate the same day I called and it was accurate. They packed us up the day before and came the next morning to move us. Everything was very smooth. The most wonderful thing was that they moved our toddler's room first thing in the morning, making a special trip to the new house just to do this, so that he could still have his nap on moving day in his own crib!! As a mom, you know how golden that is. A rested baby on moving day is priceless. Thanks to these guys, that's what happened. HIGHLY recommended!!

I've used movers before, and most of my experiences were good. This was the first in-All American Van Lines I used since I came to DC, and they were fantastic. They called to confirm, showed up on time, and worked their butts off. Everyone was friendly and professional - Only one item suffered minor damage, but it was my fault- I packed it really stupidly at the last minute. They even put together a new bed frame I'd bought. .

I hate moving...and I usually hate the movers, too. The guys showed up on time this is what I love about All American Van Lines

I called a different SF moving company before I called All American Van Lines and they were cheaper. But after Ronnie walked me through a very thorough phone estimate I felt like these guys knew what they were doing.

Three guys showed up right on time and got the job done fast. They didn't charge for using their wardrobe boxes or for tolls. And they set up my bed in the new place! The whole move came in $250 under the estimate.

I'll use All American Van Lines from now on.

I'm typing this review on my iPhone as the movers are currently at work. At first I was a little wary due to their competitive pricing. But, I am very impressed with their professionalism. My appointment was at 9:00am and they showed up on time (actually a little early). I gave them a walk around of my two bed two bath condo + storage and they got started immediately.

I hired All American Van Lines for pack and move service. I did this mainly as I don't trust myself with my glass / crystal-ware. They are VERY careful and pay good attention to detail. All furniture was wrapped with protection cloth, taped up, then shrink wrapped tight. I have a large china cabinet that they disassembled. Each cup / plate was individually wrapped (took a long time but everything arrived safely).

The workers were delightful and very willing to help. I have so much stuff that they actually sent over 3 more people (from 4 to 7) to help expedite the process. While moving the huge LG laundry machine to the new house, they did damage the wood floor a little. Immediately, Ronnie came over to look at the damage. It was small and I'm sure I would have done much worse if I moved it myself. He sent a repair guy over the next day to take care of the floor!!! That's service! Make sure to tip each of the main workers well, they DESERVE it!!! Thanks Ronnie, and I'll be sure to use your services again / refer friends and family to you!!!

Absolutely amazing! The whole worked like machines - up and down the stairs - moving out and moving in, all day long. This is the second move they did for us. Hopefully we won't be moving again in a long time, but if the need arises, we'll call them again! Thanks guys!

All American Van Lines were great! Reasonably priced and worth money! They were super helpful and respectful. We had just gotten the floors in our new place redone and they made sure to not drag anything. I highly recommend using these guys to move.

I generally hate moving. These guys made it really, really easy.

From the start, Frazer provided excellent service. He showed up exactly on time for our pre-move walk through and the truck was waiting outside when I first checked for it on the day of the move. The crew of 3 Frazer, Glen, Craig were friendly and simply manhandled my move from SF to Oakland. With lots of stairs and tight corners in both locations, I was sure that their attitude would decline and that the move would go long. But they never faltered and I think the total time was at the low end of the estimate. It should be noted, though, that I was really well-prepared for the move and there were no unexpected issues.

In the end, I paid less than I thought I would (and less than half of what another mover had quoted) and ended up infinitely more satisfied than I thought possible (no offense to any other movers is intended ).

I thank All American Van Lines for their efficiency in moving .

One of the most difficult tasks is moving. I really find it extremely difficult. It’s a work of a professional. I don’t look for cheap local movers for moving as I know at the end of my move they will come up with a huge bill, which will be no where near to the original estimation. Therefore I looked for reliable moving company. I called up 3 companies and amongst them All American Van Lines was impressive. The rep was very good. Ronnie the Owner understood my problem and understood what I want exactly. He gave me the detail estimate charges and also explained me the billing structure. That was really easy to understand. The rest of the move was as it should be, smooth in fact very smooth.

We have moved a number of time...

We have moved a number of times over the years because of my job needs and I can say with out a doubt this was the best move to date. The loaders and packers where just great had our home packed and loaded in 5 hours which was amazing in itself. We were also very impressed with some of the simple precautions taken like the guys wearing shoe covers in our home; with all of our previous moves I had never seen that before. Yes I know that sounds trivial but you know it’s the little things that add up.

Go with them you wont be sorry.

Amazing Services

I want to say how grateful I am for doing my research on yelp with this place. AMAZING! Thank you so much to Wendy and to All American Van Lines. I needed them to be there at 12 noon they were there at 11:59! I was shocked they were right on time. They were fantastic. These men were so friendly. I am so glad I didn't go with "2 Irish guys and a truck" those guys were rude I had used them last time. I was really nervous about trying these people out and why? The number one reason I was so nervous was because they were so affordable I thought surely I am asking for trouble. I was wrong they were great.

I didnt know it was possible but they were not only really fast they were gentle. They never ever asked for my help or complained made a single negative comment. I want to also mention that they had to go up 3 flights of stairs for my new place with no elevator. I am in the service industry and I tipped them very heavy. The bill was $140 and I gave them a $120 dollar tip. The man literally almost cried as he thanked me. I look at it this way #1 the $140 may not even go to them (they may be paid only hourly) #2 $120 divided by 2 men = $60 divided by 2 hours of labor is only $30 per hour. Whoever you decide to go with think about tipping what the service is worth not just what it is that you feel like paying. Besides he was astonished that I was paying 1000 per month for a really nice studio, he thought that was expensive so I knew I was tipping a very very deserving group of guys. I could have paid $260 without a tip easily and it would have come with this "well we are the best most professional attitude" Instead this company not only was on point in every single way they were humble.

I will tell everyone about them and I hope that I can bring them a lot of service. One thing I was not prepared for was having to take the subway to my new place. I could not ride with them as there was no room in the truck. That is ok turns out that is standard and it would have been illegal for them to put me in the back. Oh and my god they had bubble wrap and the tape and the plastic to make sure the drawers stay shut. Tip to those who do not move that often (like me) save yourself the time do not unload your dresser drawers. They will just plastic wrap them shut and they put it on a dolly so yeah had I had known that that would have saved me 3 moving boxes LOL. They are prepared and were more than I could have asked for in any way. Love them to death and hope to not be moving anytime soon. Moving is a very stressful thing and thanks to them I was at ease the whole time and my experience was wonderful. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

Thanks Guys

My family moved recently within Farmingdale, and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

To start, Mike Jones came over to do the estimate. He carefully examined our apartment, went over all the options, and left us with a competitive bid that clearly stated, "Will not exceed," and they kept their word. We got a quote from another moving company, but decided to go with All American Van Lines because we got the feeling they would take care of us, while the other company dropped hints that if anything happened it would be on us (including parking tickets for the moving truck!).

On moving day, the guys showed up on time, and got to work immediately. We lived on the fourth floor of a walk up, and these guys hustled even though they were working by the hour. They were all courteous and patient, and very careful. Had we been 100% packed, it is likely they would've come in well under estimate. Instead, they helped us pack the remaining items, and when we got to the new place, asked us before unpacking where we wanted things. We changed our minds on a number of items, and each time it was "no problem," done with a smile. I can't overemphasize how polite, courteous, and hard-working they all were. We bought them pizza for lunch, and they thanked us as though it were a gourmet meal.

In the end, despite spending extra time helping us pack, they still managed to come in just under estimate. They offered multiple payment methods, which was an added bonus and one less trip for a cashier’s check, etc. Although it's taken us six weeks to fully unpack (almost), we expected to find a few damaged things here and there but have yet to find a single broken item. We couldn't be happier, and they made the stress and anxiety of moving day as smooth and easy as possible. I would definitely use All American Van Lines on my next move no questions asked (might be a long time, no intentions of moving anytime soon).

Thanks on a job well done :-)

I just moved and used All American Van Lines Inc. to move me. They know what they're doing and they're quick about it. Services range from packing for you and moving you and unpacking to simply moving. It's much cheaper to pack yourself. You pay by the hour and of course will have to pay for all the materials they use. I don't know how costly it would've been if they packed me, since I did 90% of the packing myself.

The guys and the supervisor were really nice. My move was fun!

They brought in extra wardrobe boxes to throw the few loose bags and coats I had and didn't charge me for it, which was nice. They showed up at 8:30am and left my new apt at 2:30, completely unloaded (except one thing, more below). So, this move was very fast and required little manual lifting on my part, which I liked since I didn't have my usual cadre of friends helping me move like I have had before.

The one thing they forgot was a flat-screen LCD computer monitor. I called them about 30 minutes after they left, when I noticed that it was missing. Didn't get a call back for a few hours, so I called them again and they said that they were looking into it. I called them again the next morning, still nothing. Last call at Noon and they said that they got in touch with the driver and that they had the monitor with them and can drop if off. I told them that I'd come pick it up at their office (since it's relatively close to my new apt) the following morning. It was there, still wrapped in bubble wrap when I got there and picked it up. The driver apologized for screwing up and thinking that everything was unpacked. I wasn't very concerned about getting the monitor back. I just felt that I would get it. And I did :)

The price was pretty fair (144/hr for 4 people) and they are quick. I was quoted much higher rates (and some lower), but the time-slots for the lower rate was filled up. For local-area moves I'd recommend a hourly charge over a flat rate, and flat-rate for large/out-of-town moves.

I'd definitely use them again.
