The Edge Fitness Clubs

Love the edge! The place is so large and there are so many things you can do! It's a great gym and the staff is super nice.

I've been a member since 2000 and have had largely good experience with the gym. One huge exception was the horrendously unprofessional behavior of one of the desk attendants at the Fairfield location. At a very busy time (and Fairfield is always busy) I came upon a piece of equipment that someone had left a cloth bag. I am always leaving my watch on exercise machines so I assumed whoever's bag it was simply forgot it. I asked the woman working out at the adjacent machine if the bag was hers and when she replied in the negative I took the bag off and placed it where the owner would notice it when she/he came back for it. Well the woman started screaming - she was holding that machine for a friend and I had touched her friend's stuff. when I remarked that if she wanted to hold machines she should buy one she went and got the aforementioned desk attendant. Then the desk attendant started screaming at me. Whether I was right or wrong it is never right to scream at a customer. The whole incident was so unpleasant I've stopped going to the Fairfield location.
