AVOID-AVOID!!! I had Mr. Stewart repair my grandfather clock about 3 years ago and it never kept time. He was the only one that had ever worked on it since I purchased it new.

After moving to Denver I had Dale with Rocky Mountain Clocks overhaul it. What he discovered was was shocking to me. Specifically the winding stops had been removed, the worn original brass cables were replaced with braided silver PICTURE WIRE and the cable reel covers were missing. During Stewarts' reassembly he dropped a weight inside the cabinet and dented the bottom. I saw this happen.

When Dale handled the brass weights, pendulum, etc he wore special gloves to prevent getting finger oil/prints on them. He was very professional.

Just avoid using David Stewart and disappointment.
