Sweet Betty's has great cookies, cupcakes and cakes! Yes, their selection is limited, but their flavors change daily. (Like them on FB and you will see that their pictures of the flavors for the day.) In my opinion, their quality is so much better than going to Walmart. Like everything else, you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying $1.50-$2.00 for a treat now and again because I know that the quality is good. I have referred several of my clients to Sweet Betty's - their sweets are better than many other places in this area!
I recently purchased the gluten free grain bread and it is wonderful. Texture is like bread with gluten and the millet gives the crunch. When toasted, there is a great aroma like fresh baked bread. The stores in the Chicagoland area are selling it for about. $6.50, so I keep it in the fridge to keep it from going bad before I can eat it all.
Prices are high and limited selection on the food. The store seemed more set up to sell items such as books, pens, cards and other items like that rather than a bakery. 1 cupcake was $2.00 and not that big for the price. I did not stay nor did I buy anything, went to Walmart and bought 12 cupcakes for $3.60.
