I want to thank Michael R. Pavlica MD for the treatment of my mother, Two months ago I took my mother into the eye group for her eye check up since she has macular degeneration. It was during that visit Doctor Pavlica took several looks at my mother's right eye. I saw him pull up information on his computer about how he viewed my mother's last visit to his office. That is when he asked my mother several questions about my mother's eye site and if she ever felt any different symptoms with her vision. Also, he asked her if she felt any signs of a stroke,. She said no and I told the doctor that I see her once every week. I also told him that the rest of our family is always talking to my mother throughout the week. Doctor Pavlica told us that he sees a blood clot that in her right eye,. At that point, he explained to both of us what he was going to do. He wrote a letter to her family doctor and ordered tests to find out where the blood clot came from and advised us to follow up with a heart doctor and have an ultrasound done of her neck vessels. My mother and our whole family are very grateful to Doctor Pavlica for how he handle my mother's health care. Thank you very much

Cataract Surgery
I would highly recommend Dr Leonardo if you are anticipating cataract surgery. She listens and she is willing to work with you and answer any questions. She really put me at ease when I found out I had cataracts and would need surgery. I had both eyes done in September and couldn't be happier with the results. She and her staff were great! I seldom had to wait long. Everyone at The Family Eye Group in both Ephrata and Lancaster offices were friendly, efficient, and easy to work with.
Eye Exam
I wanted to make this review for a while now so here I am. I had Dr. Nguyen(pronounced Win) I had gone in for a simple eye exam and to get glasses and contacts. Upon my exam she found that my optic nerves were swollen. She started asking me if I had any other symptoms so I brought up the ringing in my ear and the headaches which I had seen my family doctor for. To say she saved me is no joke. Come to find out I have idiopathic inter cranial hypertension. After several MRIs, spinal taps and blood work, I was placed on medicine for it and she was kept in the loop about everything. Not only did this office MAKE appointments for me to see a neurologist they even called around to find one that could take me in ASAP. She saved me from losing my eye sight along with saving me from my horrific headaches. They seriously went above and beyond what any office has ever done before for me. She made me feel like I was top priority and she made sure I was taken care of. I couldn’t be more thankful. I never thought an eye doctor would save me from so much, and my perspective has completely changed on eye doctors. Thank you for saving me from the horrible headaches and for finding this issue that no other doctor could find. I will recommend this group for as long as I live. I can barely find the words on how greatful I am for dr nguyen and the staff at this practice. If you haven’t been to an eye doctor in a while and come across this review I can 100% say they will take care of you as if you were their own family. Not to mention every single nurse there are freaking amazing! All the doctors and the front staff and nurses make going so much more relaxing. Again I can’t thank you enough.
