        Purchased a liftmaster residential garage door opener. Problems with liftmaster opener furing warrantly period. Tried to contact Chamberlain co by phone but get only loops of voicemail to respond to trouble calls. Been on "hold" for nearly 1 hour - very unlikely there are no employees to take the residential calls (but they will take your purchase). Very poor customer service. I will never purchase a liftmaster piece of equipment again.

        This company distributes several brands including the widely available "Clicker" brand of universal garage door remotes and openers. The company website looks polished. When it comes to customer service and technical support, they skip town like a group of snake oil salesmen. Clearly, the products were designed with good intentions, but management has pledged to greed and short-sighted profit taking and is leaving consumers holding the bag..of parts. So, buyer BEWARE! You will get a fine looking and attractive product, but if you can't get compatibility with your existing equipment, you are out of luck.
