I purchased a Certified 2015 Sonata from the Elgin Hyundai dealership 2 weeks ago. There are 2 reasons for the bad review - both pre-sale and post-sale.1) Pre-sale:I was only considering certified vehicles, not regular used. I picked the car that I liked in the "Pre-Certified" category of their website, so I went to the dealership knowing specifically what I want to see and its price. When discussing numbers with the sales person (Mitch) and the sales manager (Jim Urso), they tried to charge me almost $2000 for certification (I've seen other reviews mention this too), even though the car was already pre-certified so all of those costs were already included in the posted asking price.2) Post-sale:This car had many serious scratches. I bought the car only because Jim Urso (Sales Manager) agreed to fix those scratches. He made it clear that this would be done by spray painting them with matching paint and would be done by a professional painting company.I bought the car and brought it back when they told me to (several days later) to get the scratches fixed. I left the car there. The following day they called and said that everything was done so I came back to pick up the car. It was dark already so I got to inspect the work only 10 minutes later when I stopped by a well lit gas station. The scratches were clearly not spray painted but a very poor touchup job with a paint pen was done. Also new scratches appeared which the car clearly sustained while being in service there. I called Jim and he asked for 30 minutes to figure things out. Promised to call back and never did for a full week, even after I left a follow-up voice message.After a week, I sent him a detailed e-mail which he responded to with a call very quickly. But during this call he denied that he promised to fix scratches by spray painting them, said that they did their best with the touchup and offered to redo it (that really wouldn't change anything so I didn't agree to it).
This is the best shop I have been to in Elgin ! The owner is very upfront, honest, and fair. Fixed my civic twice now if you ever need a place to tow your car to tow it here he will definitely get the job done for you

All new people! Jeff is no longer the manager, it's a Robert now and they are cons! Will try to up repairs on you. Say it's harmless but will say it's major, so you can pay more!! I will never go back to these people again!!!!!
The customer service here sucks we hada disagreement about price on oil change and instead of just apologizing for misunderstanding the manager went back and forth with me wanting to prove me wrong. Also ridiculously over priced will not be returning here again!!!!
I came into this dealer today because I received a letter in the mail about them being interested in buy my vehicle back from me at 110% black book. I set up an appointment and there was nobody here to help. After waiting for someone to help they gave me a salesperson that was already busy trying to close another deal. He did not give me the time of day to try and help me find another truck he just kept saying let's see what it would cost to build a truck. Every truck he kept saying cost $45,000 this was a base truck to a diesel truck. I know there should be a difference from a base gaser to a base diesel. I also wanted to know what I could get for a trade-in on my vehicle and they didn't have time for that either. All in all they just didn't care about trying to help me or anyone else because because when I was standing talk to a salesperson when I walked in I heard several salesperson saying they were wasting there time with customers and that the customer shouldn't care if the payments were more than what they wanted. This dealership needs to get there act together if they want to stay in business. I have never been treated so poorly at a car dealer ship . Most dealer try to work with you and try to make the sale there salesperson could careless. Not a good start for the new owner.

I had a great experience buying car from MotorsDriven. I dealt with Khan. He was very nice and funny guy specially knowledgeable about cars. I saw a car in the lot and walked in to check it out. But I ended up getting a better car at a better price. He suggested me to get the better car and did all my loans even though I had some glitches on my credit but he was able to get me the loan at a decent rate. All the people working there are very humble and polite people. You will not feel uncomfortable there because no one pressure you instead they will be joking and laughing so you will feel comfortable. Therefore, if you are in the market to buy car, I would definitely recommend to check this place out at least once and you will know it was worth a trip :) Great job guys and thx for helping me out.
