Sausage was good, coleslaw had a good taste along with potato salad. This place is highly recommended.

Great Staff, Drink Specials Every Day"Great Place To Start""Great Place To Finish"Pool League Players Welcomed
Went there this past Monday and I have to say that it was not what I expected. Let me start with the staff. Completely new staff. I had been there 4 times before this last visit and didn't see those stylists that were there before. That's a shame because those stylists were the reason I would always return to this place. The girl who cut my hair didn't speak a word in English to me. What if I wouldn't have spoken Spanish? Second, every time I went in for a haircut the stylist would always wash my hair before starting on the haircut. This past visit I needed to remind her to wash my hair before she started. On Tao the haircut. Honestly, I could always tell that the previous stylists knew what they were doing when cutting my hair and that they were being careful and taking their time. This time I felt like the stylist wasn't too proficient when it came time to use the blade or scissors to cut my hair. I felt like she was simply chopping my hair and doing so in a manner that seemed a bit hurried. Truthfully, I feel like I could have gone to any chain of haircut places and received the same haircut and experience at a much lower price. I have an idea of what this business is striving for, but with these changes, in my opinion, they are not succeding. That's why I would not go back to this place nor recommend it to anyone unless they bring back stylists that are as proficient as those that were there before.
Worse customer service ever. Please do not endorse such businesses who treat customers with such disrespect and unprofessional.I visited for my third time and I have to say I was completely shocked by the unprofessional conduct of local business owner who prides herself in customer service. I was assessed a fee for being early. That is right arrived to my appointment at 12:50 PM when my appointment was at 1 PM. I asked the front receptionist if i could cancel since it has been more than 15 minutes of me waiting around 1:16 i was asked if i has a problem with waiting. I responded yes since i had a full day ahead of me I was told i had to pay 50% of my services since i wanted to cancel. I was amazed by such customer service and the attitude of the representative. I later came to find out that it was the owner her self (Laura Miramontes). I did not pay the fee and simply left the place to later find out the charge on my credit card. I was more amazed because my brother who walked in to the business with me got faster service than me who had an appointment. This is not to bash on the business but for people to know the treatment they will receive and for the owner to know that with such behavior you will continue to loose business as they are loosing employees. Just last month i wanted to get a full service on my feet and full body massage and was advice by my hairstylist that it couldn't be possible since the massage therapist and about four stylist had quit the job due to the unprofessional conduct of the owner. It is so sad to see local business suffer due to poor management.
soul food night ..Tues..Thur..& Fri...live Dj,,,drink specials all night!
My wife set up a Signature Package at this place, and I have to admit that at first I was embarrassed because my friends were all ribbing me calling me a metrosexual and such. Well call me whatever you want, because this guy is the new mayor of this awesome place. The professionalism of all the service providers was really above par. I got a massage that left me speechless, a fricking awesome foot detail that took away all of callouses, a hot later shave that knocked me out, and a cool haircut AND they even fed me!! All they are missing is the hammock in the back patio. My wife had to drag me out of there.I think she is jealous now, because she has never come home from a spa day like I did. Thanks Babe I know you really love me cuz I am doing it again next month!
My husband totally loved it. Thank God because finding a good barbershop that isn't all ghetto is really hard to do in El Paso. It is now located on Mesa in a historical Henry Trost Buidling. I wish nothing but the best for the business. Glad to see that they are giving military discounts. my husband is going to be a regular for sure.
I have to agree with Mr. SStrawder- why can't I give you more stars! What an experience- all of it from the smell of tobacco and sandalwood leather to the topshelp scotch and incredible staff service. Top customer service coupled with a total man spa and barbersalon concept. I dont have more time or I would write a full thesis of how awesome it really is.
My neighbor told me about GR over a year ago now because of their hot lather shaves and complimentary drinks... I went once and I haven't been any where else since! Phenomenal customer service, knowledgeable staff who are very skilled and take pride in what they do, very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, and best of all, even though it says "salon" in the name it isn't your normal salon. Caters to both men and women and is basically a one stop shop for all of your grooming needs. Arlene has got to be one of the best stylists in town and Laura, the owner is super nice. Very Highly Recommend Gentleman's Republic regardless of what you need. They have you covered.
Laura at Gentlemen's Republic takes great care of our boys here at Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home. Through her generosity, our kiddos receive free haircuts year round! Thank you Gentlemen's Republic for being an outstanding community partner and thank you for caring about our deserving kids.
