405 Auto Sales

I had the most awful experience with this car dealer. I bought a used car from them and paid cash in full. I never received the title from the dealer within the 90 day period as required by California vehicle code. I have been in constant contact with the dealership which has done nothing but give me the run around and make false promises that they will deliver the title which they still have not done. Then the dealer tells me there is still a leinholder on the vehicle (I'm sure it's illegal to sell a vehicle with a leinholder on it) and that is why he hasn't given me the title. I went to complain to the DMV and they told me that he hasn't even started the transfer and has only paid $15 towards the fees. I am now in the process of pursuing legal action against this used car dealer. This has really turned into a nightmare. PLEASE PEOPLE I URGE YOU SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE AND DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD LAWYER.
