Dr. Thomas Heischmidt joined Family Care Associates in 1999. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in pediatrics, geriatric care, wound care, and diabetes. He attended Eastern Illinois University and the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in Peoria at Saint Francis Medical Center where he graduated in 1995. He completed the Residency program at the U of I College of Medicine at Peoria. Dr. Heischmidt also serves on the medical staff at St. Anthony's Memorial Wound Center.
