Over the past 11 years, I've used ABC appliances for both repair service and to purchase new appliances. Each time they've been extremely helpful. The repairs were done well, in a timely manner, and the service people very polite. When I've purchased new appliances, the install has gone smoothly and again is done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend ABC Appliance Sales and Service.
The only reason I gave one (1) star, is because there was no option for a big fat ZERO stars! I agree with risanrob below. Here is the letter I emailed to ABC Appliance today.
To Whom It May Concern:
This is to follow up on my recent request for service from your company on the subject microwave oven a couple of weeks ago. You may recall I came into your store around 5pm to ask for my check back because of the non-service I received from the person who responded to my home (I believe his name was Sam). You may also remember that I told you that he came to my home after 4:00pm to repair the microwave, but it became very obvious he had no intention of repairing it that day, but only to get my check. He did not so much as take anything apart to figure out the problem, yet told me it was a "two-man job" that he needed to take the microwave off the wall to repair it and told me he would collect the check now, and I would need to call your office to reschedule the repair. I asked him if it could be done by Thanksgiving and he said "the chances of that is little to zero!" He was impatient and seemed to have an attitude whenever I asked him a question. Reluctantly, I gave him a check, but I was fuming over it then and after he left. That is why I came to get my check back within the hour or so.
I just wanted you to know that I called Sears yesterday morning, and asked if they could send someone to repair the microwave. They sent someone to my house TODAY! They gave me a window of 10am to 2pm. The professional arrived at my house at 10am and called me 30 minutes prior to tell me he was on his way!!! He came prepared with his tools and everything he needed. After he arrived, the microwave was repaired within 30 minutes! No need to take it down off the wall. It was the APPLIANCE FUSE, accessible from the panel! This is why I will not ever use your company again. I should have read the reviews before calling. I could have had use of my microwave on Thanksgiving but did not because of your employee. The customer wants to be able to trust people they hire to do work for them. I have no trust in your employee. Just wanted you to be aware of my experience so you can take any action you deem necessary to try to regain trust of the community that you wish to patronize your business!!!
They were rude and very unhelpfull i would never use them for myself or send a friend to this business
