Welcome to Animal Health Care PC. Our practice was established in 1977 with a simple focus: to provide quality accessible veterinary care to all animals. Three decades later we remain committed to the animal owners of Westchester. We combine modernized state-of-the-art care you'd expect from a larger animal hospital with the personal caring atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. Dr. Nick DiRusso earned his Bachelor Of Science degree from Ohio University and D.V.M. from Cornell University. He began practicing veterinary medicine in 1975 and opened his own practice - the practice which he still runs to this day - in 1977. Dr. DiRusso also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York Academy of Figurative Art in Manhattan. He paints animal portraits and has lent his artistic talents to a Westchester-based charity organization for the last ten years. Animal Health Care PC offers a sincere, honest and caring environment - a true "mom-and-pop" animal hospital with a warm approachable attitude. We make the extra effort to get to know you and your pet and routinely go out of our way to make our patients feel at home. Our quaint yet cutting-edge facility offers basic diagnostics, routine exams, vaccinations, routine surgeries and general care. We also offer on-site advanced surgical procedures, x-rays, advanced diagnostics, ultra sounds, echo-cardio grams, and endoscopies by board-certified surgeons and diagnosticians.
