Crowne Forest Apartments

Great place to live, having a washer, dryer, and dishwasher was great and Renne in the office takes great care of everyone. Most negative reviews I see were from old management so bear that in mind as you read them.

The fact that you had to pay $600 for the deposit says it all. Deposits for 2 bedrooms start at $270, which is what I paid. and a 3 bedroom is $300. Which means something in your credit is REALLY bad. I owe 6 credits cards and 2 student loans out, and collections from t-Mobile and was still approved for the lowest deposit amount. You have 3 days to get your deposit back, and then if through no fault of your own the apartment is denied to you, you can get your deposit back. Not completing paperwork IS your fault, whether you want it to be or not. I'm currently in the process of applying for the apartment and it has been wonderful, Kelly and Darcie have been in contact with us at all times. Always make sure to ask them if there is anything else, and what is the next step. I live in Chicago right now and everything has been going smooth. If we get this apartment I will follow through with a Apartment review.

We applied to live here and gave them our $600 deposit. We lived two states away and were trying to move to the quad cities. We were told everything was in order so we went back to our home to pack and prepare to move. A month later and 3 days before our move in date, we were told about the REST of the paperwork. Well we were unable to complete some of the paperwork, due to no fault of our own. Therefore our application was considered incomplete and they refused to give us our deposit back. We had to live in a hotel for a month until we finally found a house. Three adults and one baby in a hotel room were not pleasant. Some of the neighbors were scary and the landlord told us she had a 'deal' with the east moline police to patrol a lot. All things happen for a reason, we're in a crime free neighborhood and have a house now too.‎
