It has more than 20 branch offices in New York, Connecticut and Florida and is headquartered in Kings Park, N.Y. The agency s staff includes nurses, therapists, social workers, pathologists, personal care aides and homemakers. Utopia Home Care also operates Utopia Assisted Living Services, which provides services to individual clients living in senior independent housing facilities. The agency s physicians offer treatment for patients with cancer, dementia, and other short- and long-term illnesses. Utopia Home Care also offers free training for those who want to become certified home health aides. It additionally conducts special classes and workshops for bilingual Spanish students. Utopia Home Care s therapists direct and supervise physical and occupational therapies to patients in their homes. Its speech pathologists work with primary care nurses to coordinate patient care services. Utopia Home Care maintains a presence in East Haven, Conn.
