        Kent Foss is an active trumpet performer and educator based in Durham, North Carolina. He has performed as a soloist in Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and throughout the United States. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in trumpet performance from Arizona State University, and has taught trumpet privately and at the college level.
