Durham Regional Hospital is a 360-plus-bed acute care facility that provides a range of inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care services. It employs more than 700 physicians and over 500 nurses. Located in Durham, N.C., the hospital s facility occupies an area of nearly 550,000 square feet. Its rehabilitation institute consists of social workers, pathologists, therapists and dietitians. The hospital s orthopedic surgeons offer treatment for sports injuries and complex spine conditions. Its inpatient psychiatry unit provides diagnosis and psychotherapeutic treatment options for depression, anxiety disorders and schizophrenia.
