Thanks to Planned Pethood and ...

Thanks to Planned Pethood and their wonderful staff, I have been able to afford to have many of the stray cats in my neighborhood spayed and neutered. This spring was the first time we did not have kittens born. They took excellent care of these strays and treated them as the would a loving family pet. The person who said that this clinic said not to call with complications is wrong. Any complications related to surgery are handled and paid for by this clinic. I know because I did have one stray who had a hernia at her incision site and they told me to bring her back in, treated her, and did not charge me. She is a happy and healthy cat today and thankful not to have another litter of kittens. This clinic is affordable, professional and caring!

Best Place Ever for Low Cost Spay & Neuter

We had our 1 year old Great Dane Spayed and her Stomach tacked at Planned PEThood of Ga. She had no problems with her surgery. the Girls at Planned PEThood are Amazing, excellent Pre and Post operation instructions.

Our Subdivision also brought a 5 Feral Cat colony for spay and neutering. they live in woods in our subdivision, all of them are fine. they even got us in touch experienced feral trappers that lent us the traps.

We and several of our neighbors have been to several of their Vaccine Clinics that they hold every month.

Not only are they very professional but the place was clean and didn't smell like another low cost place that we had used in the past when we lived downtown.

If I could give them 6 stars I would

STAY AWAY

I brought a feral cat to Planned Pethood to be neutered. I picked him up that same afternoon and following their directions, kept him in isolation for 24 hours and then released him. One week after his operation, I saw he was walking very slowly (obviously in great pain) and the area where he was operated on was wide open and bleeding. Rushing him to a REAL DOCTOR at Duluth Animal Hospital, I was told he was badly infected and would have died a terrible and painful death if not taken care of. Dr. Miller saved his life. Dr. Miller also called Planned Pethood and informed them of the results of their "operation".

Planned Pethood says to call your own vet if there are any complications. That should have been a tipoff. They also give an emergency number, but after what they did to that cat, I would never return to that butcher shop. People - if you value and love your pets, or any animal for that matter, stay away from Planned Pethood.
