        With a hand full of people, Heritage Church was founded in 1983 at the Women's Club House in Pulaski, Virginia under Pastor Hagan McClellan. In 1984 the church held it's first services on Highland Road located in Dublin, VA. In 1985, due to the growth Heritage Church, it became necesary to move to a temporary home at the Volvo Union Hall in Dublin, VA. Later that year Heritage would move to it's new facility on Route 100 in Dublin Virginia. While the church continued to move forward, in 1990 Pastor Gordon Shinn was led to Heritage Church. The church continued to experience God's movement within its mist, so in 1996 the church added a new sanctuary addition with the old sanctuary becoming the current fellowship hall. In the year 2000, Pastor Mike Brummitt was led to Heritage Church with a new vision that would carry the church into a new generation. In 2007 our current pastor Mike Sweeney came to continue and move forward with the vision that God has called Heritage Church to.
