My family and I ate here last week. We had reservations at 7:00 with a birthday, but we were sat about 7:10-7:15. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because when we walked into the waiting room it was absolutely PACKED. We sat down with a couple next to us. We actually made very good friends with this couple by the end of the night, very nice people =). Our waitress was attentive to our table, and the cook (mookie i think his name was) was super funny and talented! The only odd thing was candle mountain thing they had? When we asked about it they told us it was a 20+ year old candle mountain that had been tradition there. sure? All in all we were satisfied and happy about our meal and we will definitely return for some good food and entertainment. (especially for the free birthday!)
This is a great place. Feels like an old time steak/chophouse. Dimmed lighting, full bar and great wine list. The food is delicious and it's never…
Since I have moved to Pleasanton about a year ago my husband and I have tried many of the restaurants in the area. Once we found Mcnamara's Steak & Chop House, we have made it our "Place to go" for Friday nights out. The service is fantastic and the atmosphiere is very nice. I would recommend Mcnamara's Steak & Chop House to anyone.
The seating staff was terrible. After waiting 45min (told 20-30) hubby had to go ask why so long. They tried to seat me at a booth with a step, after being told I was handycapped. If it wasn't for our waiter Mark(fantastic) they would get maybe a 1. Mark made up for it with excellent service.Food was good.

I took my wife there for a night out and had the lobster ravioli. service was good and food superb. We will be back.
