        Chicago College of Pharmacy is operated by the Midwestern University, and is located in Downers Grove, Ill. It offers doctor of pharmacy degrees, postgraduate programs and scholarships. The college's curriculum includes a well-integrated collection of lecture courses that are delivered by a team of experienced faculty. Beginning with the first professional year, students are introduced into patient care settings and observe the role and responsibilities of pharmacists through a series of experiential rotations and clerkships in a variety of practice settings. It additionally provides instructional programs in biomedical, pharmaceutical and clinical sciences. Its courses in administrative science include an early experiential course sequence, a survey of the health care system, professional practice management, quality assurance of pharmacy practice and pharmacy laws. The college is approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
