Although I ended up getting bad news about my car today (totally wrecked transmission on an aging car- probably not worth fixing), my experience getting a diagnosis and quote from Aamco was professional and painless. I had another mechanic quot me a couple of hundred for a relatively simple problem, I likely would have spent the money and still ended up with a wrecked tranny. The desk staff was great and promptly followed up on all my calls. They even called a transmission specialist from next door to take a look.
