whatever u do dont go to the tag office the 1st & last week of the month. i learned this a few months ago when i went to the dothan office to register my new (used) vehicle and transfer the title. had to wait in a line of approximately 22 individuals for about 1 1/2 hours so i could pay $280. if u can wait until 2d or 3d week as i did today, i had no wait time and was there approximately 20 minutes to pay my $355. timing is everything

Friendly service and staff but service is slow, a numbers system would greatly improve service, maybe need to review a county that has the system. Thanks!
