Dr. Henderson is the best vet we have ever used. Our dogs have gone there since about 1990. Not only does he care for our pets, he also cares for our two son's pets too. You won't find a more compassionate, caring doctor for your fur baby. The staff there is wonderful and friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Henderson and Village Veterinarian.

We were vacationing from Texas n our toy poodle got sick! She received excellent care by Dr. n staff! Receiving phone calls from them to check her condition was something we didn't expect but really appreciated their concern! Highly recommend this clinic!!!! Very pleased! Charlet Neidig

I have used Village Vet with Dave Henderson for almost 20 years. I have had a lab and dachshunds over that period of time and have ALWAYS had great care whether it was annual care, emergency care, or boarding. The staff is awesome also because Dr. Henderson wouldn't have it any other way.

Dr. David K. Henderson is an EPIC FAIL!!!! I'd taken my dog to have staples removed from his leg. Dr. Henderson operated on him 2 weeks ago, to repair his ACL. When we arrived for our 11am appt. the assistant was sitting on the porch having a cigarette with the resident feline perched on the bench next to her. My dog was CLEARLY and EVIDENTLY disturbed having noticed the white cat, he howled and barked in my SUV. I waited until the assistant went in and secured the cat before I took my dog out of the truck. When we went in, the coast was clear (seemingly). Why the assistant didn't safeguard the cat is beyond me, but they spotted each other, and the stare-off ensued. NO ATTACK TOOK PLACE, NOT EVEN CLOSE! My dog was fully restrained. Instead of opening the door to the examining room closest to where the cat was hovered, Dr. Henderson's remedy involved KICKING MY DOG twice in the face. He lacks the competency to have thought his way out of this situation. He lacks the insight to have kept this from happening, and lacks the humility to be the slightest bit apologetic. His abusive tactics can't be tolerated, and as far as I'm concerned, he can't be trusted. What is he capable of unsupervised? He failed me, AND my dog. I'll never go back, and will tell this story to anyone who will listen. Animals misbehave, pets misbehave, but he of ALL people should possess the compassion and competency not to KICK an animal! Especially one, HE JUST OPERATED ON! EPIC FAIL!
