Bliss

Visiting from Hawaii, I had a hair emergency and needed a 'hair miracle worker'. An over-processing at an Aveda brand salon in Honolulu weeks before arrival left my hair stressed and in jeopardy of breaking off. I was very surprised to see that L'Oreal has a salon in Destin, surprised and excited. I called immediately and was given a thorough consultation on the phone and made an appointment with Courtney for a Brazilian Blow-Out to re-infuse vitamins and proteins that had been stripped and caused damage to my hair. Ready for the worst, but hopeful for the best, I arrived with a bottle of bubbly and prepared. The salon has a very peaceful and modern feel, was extremely clean and organized, and felt 'warm' and comfortable. The staff and salon provide complimentary wine, water and other beverages, and happily provided us with wine glasses to enjoy our bottle. Courtney, as well as the other stylists had their certifications displayed, and most importantly Courtney had a certificate that provided information about her board certification in the Brazillian Blow-Out procedure. She was very sweet and highly knowledgeable and informative. She was also fun to talk and joke with and made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The entire procedure took a little under 2 hours, and at finish my hair looked and felt like silk. I haven't been able to keep my hands out of it since. I neither see, nor feel the damage I saw/felt on my way in the doors. I exited those doors a happy, healthy-haired, extremely satisfied customer.
