I really really wanted to like this place, but all I could do when I got in my car was cry. Just moved to Denver and have been a wreck ab someone doing my hair bc so many people before my current stylist (a board certified colorist) have destroyed it...and no different here. Saw all the positive reviews, so I decided to try. Where to start.....Had my hair done by Ty. He highlighted the front and his assistant highlighted the back....horrible...I have long hair (mid-back) and because they were each doing their own thing/lines, the underneath looks like a checkerboard. The put so much bleach in my hair that it is absolutely fried now. I haven't seen my hair "snow" like it did since I had Ulta do my hair (my stylist was out of town and I couldn't wait-lesson learned) 6 years ago. And they put a toner on my hair (which I also haven't had since Ulta) and that just didn't help things; if the highlights are done right, you don't need a toner. Asked for chunky, bright highlights and it looks like my roots need to be touched up already and they're brassy and not chunky. Not at all what I wanted, or the picture I showed of myself. The assistant was so rough with my hair.....my poor hair is tangled and he is just yanking a brush through it while it's wet. Seriously? Use a comb and take your time. And they burned the side of my face with bleach, which looks like a really bad sunspot right now. My scalp is incredibly sore and I am just praying my hair doesn't all break off. I looked up a Master Board Colorist (which no one in that salon is) and she immediately pointed out what was wrong. Though she can fix it, she said my hair cannot be touched right now. She also said it is possible to get my hair the blonde I want without using excessive bleach. And after all of this, he charged me 260!!!!!!!!....no where near a 260 job. He said I could come back in 7 days and he wouldn't charge me, but I cannot afford to have more bleach on my head right now nor could I handle the asst ripping out my hair, but after seven days, "I will f*cking pay him" he said. Maybe if he had been a little more focused on doing my hair right and following the "highlight line" that was already there, rather than taking shots of Jack, I might have fared better. Also, when I am paying that much money...I prefer for the person I booked the appt with to do my hair rather than being passed off to the assistant, so the stylist can hang out and chat. And when I am getting up, he says "I told you I could f*cking do this." Sorry, but you didn't. If I ever write a review, it's always about something positive I've experienced, but this was so bad, I had to write one.
