Deland facility is excellent. Awesome staff.

Most of the staff at this facility is excellent. Very friendly and caring and loving towards my dogs. However, one of the doctors, doctor Kim, is completely and utterly useless. She has no bedside manner when dealing with dogs. She barely speaks English. She makes no attempt to pet the dog, and frankly it appears she wants nothing to do with them. On our last visit, my dog walked towards her, and she was practically climbing up a wall to get away from him. I will admit that my dog is very large, and he is a pitbull, but he has never shown any sign of aggression and he is very well behaved. Most of the other works always walk over and greet and pet him because he is so loving. I will never return to this place and look forward to when this doctor gets fired.

A few weeks ago I took my cat to this office for a case of Urinary Tract Infection.I originally go to the shelter's clinic because that is where I got my cats.However,they were too busy to check him,so they reffered me to Val-u-vet.They told me excellent things about the place.One thing was that they were the most affordable vet office in Orlando,that was VERY true.The waiting time was only about 10 minutes.Once we met the doctor they were very kind just like the receptionist.You could tell that they were dedicated to what they were doing.My cat had to get a urine sample but since he didn't urinate they would have to inject him with fluids so he could.They told us to leave him there until he was injected and they had gotten a urine example.In about 30 minutes or so we recieved their call saying that he was ready.As soon as we returned they had him in his cage and the results of the urinalyisis.We were told to give him 1.5 mL of medicine twice a day for 3 weeks.The very next Monday they called me to check on my cat.I felt VERY satisfied because the cared enough to check on his health.Today my cat is as healthy as can be and the infection treated in LESS than 3 weeks like told.Very soon he is to have another check up to see how well he has healed.I KNOW that they will do as good as last time.So PLEASE next time your on a budget for your pet,want wonderful services,or want a simple chech up for your pet I VERY STRONGLY suggest Val-u-vet.
