        Founded in 1982, Johnson Farms is a more than 2,000-acre facility that maintains a collection of conifer trees, potatoes, green beans, spinach and peas. The farm offers Berberis crimson pygmy, Cryptomeria Yoshino, Cytissus Burkwoodi, Salix Hakuro Nishiki and Thuja Nigra and Pyramidalis trees. It provides evergreen screening and sod farming services. Johnson Farms is a member of the New Jersey Nursery and Landscaping Association, International Plant Propagators' Society, Lawn Institute and New England Nursery Association. It provides soil preparation and installation services, as well as offers tips for the maintenance of grasses. The farm additionally offers sod varieties, such as tall fescue and blue grass for homes.
