Coast to Coast Moving LLC
1400 E Hillsboro Blvd Ste 200, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441
My experience is the same as the review from MUA G. This company is terrible They collect your money up front way in advance of the move and then they call you days before the expected pickup .and double the weight charging you much more. My first charge was $514.00 then 2 days before the move they charged without my authorization another $750 on the same credit card number I gave them the first time. Then the pickup occurred two days late from when they said it would occur. Also they do not do any of the moving what they do is collect you money and then hire a sub-contractor company to pick up and deliver your furniture which was also a week late in getting to me leaving my wife and I to buy from Walmart a blowup mattress to sleep on in our empty apartment for a week. I( am a 100% service connected Disabled Veteran. Once you pay Coast to Coast you do not know what company is picking up and delivering. Their drivers were using a Penske Rental Truck and Demanded $820.00 in cash only at pick up and another $820.00 in cash at delivery. The 3 Scam artist at Coast to Coast are Steve, Talor, and Scott who is the worse he double the weight 2 days before the move and charged me an extra $750 on top of the original $514.00. On Delivery after the movers left a search of my items revealed that about $1800.00 is sports collectible items had been stolen and my power lift chair was broken. I will be reporting this company to both the Attorney General's Consumer Protection in Florida, and Missouri. I am not an employee or have any personal knowledge of either Stever, Scott, or Taylor. I am a 74 year old Disabled Veteran and can be called at 816-699-2957 for verification.
Horrible company. Horrible people. Horrible service. I can't really see how these people have 5 star reviews unless they're fake. They BROKE a lot of my cherished passed down items and were completely rude. I spoke with Thomas who was a complete jerk. Scott who wasn't honest told me anything but the truth. Joseph belittled me and Steve their customer service guy just kept putting me off and placing me on hold. I ended up paying almost double the original quote when done. I am completely livid with their idea of service. Do not use this company my guy.
I have know these people for years and they always come threw. I am a local business man and would use them to move my office or home. The post below looks like a revenge posting by a person who worked their. It seems they know people their. I hate lies about good people
One of the best companies I have ever worked with. I booked my move with a gentleman names Chris, same as myself. He was the most helpful and thorough agent I have talked to. I spoke with a series of moving companies and the best quote I've had was from coast to coast. When their trucks came, it was exactly the way they promised it would happen. I have no complaints. By far the best serviced ice received.
Delivery needed to occur 6/4/17, and I stated as much about 1.5 months before pickup. I stated that when they picked it up wasn't important as long as it was delivered on that date- since it was 2300 miles and they legally had up to 3 weeks to deliver, it seems like it should have been picked up no earlier than 5/14, though the sales rep scheduled the pickup for 5/21. This was too optimistic- the driver will not be in the area until either 6/10 or 6/11, the end of the 3 week period. I asked for some recompense for needing to sleep on an air mattress that was bought for the purpose, not having a portion of my work equipment, etc. Scott and Preston with Coast to Coast said that they 'will work with me,' though Steve (maybe a manager) said they will not assist and alluded to me being the common denominator with any issues I am experiencing with the move- a highly inappropriate comment.
Prior to pickup: I called to update my inventory about a week before my scheduled pickup date, and Coast to coast claims to have sent that soon after to the actual truck company (they seem to be an intermediary). When the driver came, they did not have the updated inventory, nor did their dispatch- I had to call coast to coast and have him talk with the driver and dispatch. Due to the increased volume from the initial conversation, coast to coast charged me more and failed to disclose the fuel surcharge and additional booking fee (on top of the weight overage) in the event that I went overweight.
Overall, this has been a generally negative experience. The apathy emanating from the Coast to Coast manager, his inappropriate and unprofessional comment, the poor communication between the them and the actual moving company, refusing to compensate for the delay in the target date, demanding additional money for volume though they mentioned that the cost was based solely on weight, and the hidden fee assessed with the overweight all make me sorry I chose to do business with this company.
They claim they have returned $6oo, my according to my credit card company this has yet to happen. According to their contract, they state that they will refund the down payment minus 10%. This was refused by the owner Joe Teranno and he agreed to refund only $600. My credit company shows no such refund. It shows no refund at all, although the CCM,LLC sent me an email stating that they had refunded $600. I expect Coast to coast moving, LLC to be true to their contract and refund $1260 minus the 10%.
i moved from LA to NYC and had a LOT of stuff to move. my biggest concern with moving was that my stuff would get damaged. (when i moved from oregon to LA 7 years ago, some of my stuff was damaged at delivery). THANK GOD my stuff all came in 1 piece this time. when that previous move happened, i left the longest review because i wanted everyone to steer clear of that company.
the shorter my review, the happier i am lol
i don't give anyone a 5 star. 4 is the best anyone's gonna get.
but seriously, i can't explain the relief i felt when my stuff was delivered as was.
I moved from GA -CA they where very helpful on time my first time moving long distance they packed all of my boxes they rapped my china cabinet that my grandmother passed down to me I recommend them to anyone that's looking for a professional service and reliable.
Thanks so much Coast To Coast moving
Both the management and workers were both very courteous and cautious when moving my furniture in my newly renovated house. They were stuck in traffic which caused them to be a little late but kept me posted on their whereabouts and never kept me waiting! I will definitely be referring all my friends and family to this moving company! Thanks again guys
there is no one better than coast to coast movers. I was very happy with them and would certainly recommend them to any one. they put my mind at ease and took the burden off my shoulders. they were so kind and understanding in all my decisions I cannot say enough kind things about them
What I thought was going to be a nightmare turned into the best moving experience of our 30 years plus as a military family. Coast to Coast was careful with our household goods and what a respectful and professional staff and company. When we move again we will definitely use Coast to Coast Moving and we highly recommend to all.
Coast to Coast was a great choice. I received their name through a referral. They were very courteous and professional and a great overall experience. We had a move from California to New York. Their quote was better than the other movers. I will definitely use this company for any future moves as well as recommend them to others.
