Big Brothers Big Sisters Miami Valley (BBBS) creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Since 1958, this organization has provided school-based mentoring and community-based mentoring programs for youths age 6 and up in Montgomery, Miami, Preble and Greene counties in and around Dayton, OH.When youth have a caring adult volunteer mentor, or Big, they are more likely to stay in school, avoid substance use, and make positive choices in their life. They are more likely to graduate ready to join the workforce, enroll in college or pursue a skilled trade.A Big is more than just a friend to their Little they are a role model.
