Big Lots

I had my son's birthday party here last night (1/17/09) and it was AWESOME!!! We had a ton of kids and there was plenty of room in the party room for the kids (16 - 7/8 year old boys!). We had our own refrigerator/freezer, 2 huge tables, plenty of chairs and even couches for the adults. The place was decorated really cool with a gothic theme and they provided all of the paper goods, utensils, cake knife, birthday candles, ice for drinks, etc. We ordered pizza from Papa Gino's and it was delivered hot and on time. MMG supplied the Carvel ice cream cake for $25.00 and it fed every child and parent and we still had some left over!



Our party assistant, Kristin (hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was absolutely TERRIFIC. Ask for her if you book your party there and she'll make sure that you have a great experience and that everything will run smoothly. She totally ran everything without being pushy and you could tell that she really loves her job and likes being around kids. She stayed with us for the whole party - golfing and all.



The golfing itself was soooo much fun! Everything is done in blacklight with really cool monsters that glow flourescent green, orange, pink and yellow. If you wear anything white it glows super-bright under the blacklight (even shoe laces)!! My son and his friends loved all of the monsters (who were not scary and didn't jump out at you) and loved playing mini-golf with glow-in-the-dark clubs and golf balls.
