Guy is absolutely amazing. If you need an electrician, call him. Seriously. This is the second time I've asked Guy to help me with electrical work. This time it was to hang a light fixture on an A-frame ceiling that was 14 feet from the floor. He did an excellent job, with incredible attention to detail. Because he had the higher ladder, I asked if I could use it to (finally) clean glass covers on my ceiling fan (which was 20 feet up). Guy said he would help, and he did, wiping the fan clean, tightening the fan blades and removing and replacing the glass globes. He also spotted some things around the house, like outdoor receptacles that did not have weather resistant covers. He wasn't up-charging. He showed me the kind of covers I needed, said I could get them in any hardware store and it was an easy DIY project. I couldn't be happier.

Not only did Guy arrive at my home exactly when he said he would, he completed installing my new ceiling fans in the exact amount of time he had told me it would take. I was impressed with his work and his professionalism. I will definitely call him again, and if you need a good electrician, call Silver Moon. You won't be disappointed.

Guy helped me sort out three problems. My chandler lifts both stopped working, along with a water heater and air conditioner unit.



We had to sort out the wiring from the install of lifts. Got both on them working pronto.



Two wire runs had shorted to the air conditioner and water heater. Guy ran new lines to both and added an outlet for my water softener.



He is very personable, professional and explained everything to me.

We are TOTALLY THRILLED! We previously had a fluorescent ceiling light fixture with a wooden frame. It made our kitchen look quite small. We replaced it and added can lights. WOW! Fast response competitive pricing. Guy takes the time to help you understand what your wiring issue is. I am not a high tech person but he helped me undrstand what I did wrong when I wired up my GFCI outlet. Next time I will be able to do it myself and save the money. Guy Chembars of SilverMoon Electric is the "Go To" electician in Dahlonega! He has my highest recommendation. Guy encourages owner participation, which saved me a lot of money. He is an expert at all types of electrical installations, and made many useful recommendations on lighting and electrical designs. I plan to hire him for my Phase II plans.
