Herrin Plumbing Co

I had a representative named Clint come from this company to give me an estimate on fixing my hot water heater. When they gave me a VERY VERY high estimate, I looked up online what I should be paying, and realized that he wanted to charge me more than double. I pointed this out, and the man became very rude, mean, angry, whatever you want to call it. At that point I asked him to leave my house and went to pay him the service fee to get him to leave. The service fee was $85, I used the $25 off coupon, he then says, why don't I charge you $65 instead...therefore my coupon couldn't be applied anymore, and I had to pay $5 extra (my guess is he was going to pocket it). I called the company, extremely angry, and they told me to not pay him and that they would ask him to leave. He left, and that was that. I called Accurate Plumbing of Dacula and they gave me a FAR more reasonable price quote (about half of what Herrin was charging). I usually don't waste my time writing reviews, but beware before you let these people into your house. On the plus side, at least I didn't have to pay him anything, and the home office took care of it nicely, but the rates, and professionalism of their representative was beyond awful. Stay Away.



EDIT: Wanted to add this. My PRV Valve was what had died on me, and the gentleman, Clint, made it seem as if I didn't replace it this very minute, my pipes could explode (he actually used those words)....when calling around to other plumbers they told me this was an out and out lie. the worst that could happen was that some of my fixtures get worn out, or the pressure relief valve (different than the pressure regulator valve) activates and relieves the pressure. that's it... An out and out lie to get me to commit to paying him more than double the fair market value. Does that sound like a company anyone would want to go with?
