Car Cafe

We pulled into the lot to see one car, but it was over priced. The lady told us all about another car that was priced about right but wasn’t on the lot. She said she’d bring it to the lot. We went by and saw it but didn’t get to talk to anybody. We went back the next day and talked to the lady again but the car wasn’t there. She said she would meet us with the car the following day, but had a family emergency. She had given us a price and we got the money in cash to pay for it. We went back to the lot again and we’re told the lady was letting a neighbor borrow the car. She said she would bring the car to the lot the following day. The following day, we went to the lot, but the car wasn’t there again. This time she said her daughter had given the car to her daughter. We told her we had the cash to pay for it. The lady called to see if she could get the car, but said she couldn’t get it. I have to say the lady was nice and personable and knew what to say to get us interested in buying the car. It’s just puzzling and disappointing that she had us thinking we were going to most probably purchase the car, when she had no intention of selling it. I found that to be unprofessional and odd. For that reason, I won’t go to Car Cafe again.
