Johnny's Gun & Pawn

Closed Sunday and Wednesday. Small shop with old school feel. Does not accept CC or DC. Only checks and cash. Johnny is not very friendly to strangers, but I suspect he would help your mother change a tire in his parking lot. Smaller selection but he can order what you need. Prices are as good or better than big box.
