Rustic Furniture Depot

My husband and I ordered a tall TV stand and paid extra to have it stained. We were told it would be about 2 weeks. I called about 10:00 am to see if it had arrived yet and was told the truck had arrived but they had to go through it and would call me back today so my husband could come pick it up. We finally got a phone call about 5:30pm telling us that they had gotten the wrong TV stand in. I asked to speak to the boss/manager and Bill came to the phone. I told Bill we had been eagerly waiting on the furniture because we wanted to have a housewarming party and I asked him if when he reordered it if we could have free delivery for our wait. He responded by saying that he should have never given us a military discount because it always bites him in the backside. I was very angered by this comment since my husband is a veteran and served 6 years in the Marines and was in Iraq for 1 of those years. Bill is a business owner and has the authority to say yes or no to anything. My husband simply asked for a military discount and we thought Bill was gracious enough to give it. It wasn't our fault that they ordered the wrong TV stand but we made to feel bad. I just wanted to let everyone know that is thinking about making a purchase from him that he is very rude and disrespectful to veterans! Would it really have hurt since his business had made a mistake to offer an incentive to want to use them again?
