Established in 1965, CranstonArc is a nonprofit human services organization that works for the social, emotional and physical development of children and adults who suffer from developmental disabilities. The organization s residential program consists of a network of residential group homes and semi-independent living arrangements. It also offers assistance with the activities of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, banking, transportation and medication management. CranstonArc additionally provides job placement, vocational evaluation and coaching services. The organization also conducts several clinical, medical and educational classes. It provides various recreational opportunities, such as arts and crafts sessions, day trips, and dance and exercise classes.
