Non-Residents need not apply. I was denied service even though I was able to produce 6 different forms of photo identification including my Department of Energy ID card,my ID badge for the Los Alamos National Laboratory, my University of Pittsburgh Faculty ID, a guest worker card for the Netherlands, an expired Air Force ID, and my expired NM drivers license. All of these IDs had my name and photo. I am frequently in Corvallis on business and on Saturday afternoon noticed a large blister forming on the white of my left eye - not worthy of an ER visit but not something that could just wait over the long Fourth of July Weekend either. I took the bus out there and was refused treatment even after I asked to speak to manager. Their excuse was that they are a private practice and can thus decline service to anyone that cannot produce a state-issued identification card. Seems these alleged doctors put their Profits and Policies ahead of any Patients. I guess they have forgotten their oaths. I took the bus back and eventually had my eye treated at Good Samaritan's Urgent Care facility in Philomoth. The nurse there informed they frequently get irrate patients that have been turned away for Corvallis "Immediate Care". They need to forced to take immediate out of their name as its false avertising. Replace that word with PRIVATE. I counted the money in my wallet after storming out, and it was $740. But I prefer to Pay elsewhere, as these quacks really PPPPPPi,,,,ed me off!
