Butterhill Day School

I would highly recommend this pre-school (Cornwall location) to anyone looking for a high-quality, caring environment for their child. The staff are wonderful, caring people who truly care about the "friends" they care for. I am shocked to read of another person's claims of abusive staff, as I have never even seen staff speak to or touch a child in an unkind way. They know all of the children and families by name. Their facility is clean, safe (there is one entrance/exit which a staff person must open manually for you to enter) and filled with a wide variety of age-appropriate, fun activities. The curriculum is equally focused on academic development and fun, and no child is ever pushed beyond their limits. My child is exceptionally shy and absolutely flourished in this environment. They have numerous field trips and activities during the school year. There is a fenced in playground which is always clean and well-maintained. I plan to send my next child to Butterhill as well. It is truly a gem among pre-schools.
