My repairman Joe what is the consummate old-school professional with a sense of humor and helpfulness.
He came out to do some warranty work on an LG TV. Turns out I had a faulty power source and the repair was totally free! Gave lots of helpful hints too. I hope they stay in business a long time to come.
On 12/30/10 one of your repairmen, Joseph, came to our home to repair the
motherboard on our Mitsubitshi TV. We had purchased it in July from Home Shopping Network and it was still
under warranty. In the past two weeks, we had been experiencing several
times (a) the picture would be appearing, but no sound OR (b) the sound
was on - but NO PICTURE. Most frustrating. And this was an expensive TV
Joseph was most kind and had a nice sense of humor. We are very pleased
with the new results. Thank you again for repairing our TV.
I took our TV to them after a bad experience at Dilday TV, what a difference! I was given a repair cost very quickly and it was repaired in a week for the exact amount they told me.
When I pulled up their guys unloaded my set and answered my questions, what great service!

A breath of fresh air in these times when no one really offers reliable service. Very courteous company. Technician called to be sure I was home and arrived on schedule. He dianosed the problem with my big screen set and helped with information to contact the manufacturer. He took time to explain what was wrong with my set and gave me an estimate for the repairs and parts needed. I highly recommend this tv service provider to any one needing prompt,courteous and reliable service. Cost of service call was reasonable and I will contact same technician for repairs, once I determine whether the manufacturer will provide the replacement part. It's refreshing to deal with a competent, knowledgable and courteous service provider. Best wishes and thanks.

The technician they sent out was amazing. He has been doing this work for over 30 years, and his knowledge was amazing. In addition to that his personality was a plus. He answered all of our questions, and helped us to reprogram our system that I think was beyond what was required. I would recommend this provider to any of my friends. This TV was bought from HHGregg, with a 5 year extended warranty. The people at HHGregg were @ss^holes, but I went to their Warranty provider , who put me in contact with Custom Electronics. Although the parts needed were backordered by Sharp for two months, my contact at Custom kept me informed all along the way. Jennifer is GREAT!
Custom Electronics was my local provider for my Mitsubishi TV. I could not be happier with every step of the service they provided. They will now be my first call for any service I will ever need. Great scheduling followed by even better service down to taking pictures to make use everything was set the way I had it before the service started. Family owned and you can tell it's by a family who cares.
Just posted this to Yelp...will post here as well: Custom Electronics ended up being the local service provider for when my in-warranty Toshiba TV had a problem. With a website that looks like 1995 Geocities, my expectations were pretty low. Warranty providers are usually dubious at best. But wow, they blew me away. A small family run operation that took care of everything. When the repairman showed up at my door, very polite and didn't mind answering my questions. I tried to tip him at the end, and he said he couldn't possibly accept and then revealed that he, in fact, was the owner of the operation. Bottom line: Having something break sucks, even if in warranty...the manufacturer will usually try to weasel out of fixing it or give you a refurbished product. But, IF you end up having issues, these guys really take the sting out of it. Could not have picked a nicer more professional operation.
These folks are the best around. I have a Pioneer Plasma television that I just love. Last night, it suddenly went off and would not turn back on. I called Custom Electronics this morning, and they gave me something to try before spending any money. It worked, and I am a happy guy. They could have sent a technician out right away and charged who knows what. Instead, they provided sound advice and did so in a polite manner. They are great people that are knowledgeable about most of the electronics out there today as well as being factory certified. You can't do better!
I had a kitchen fire that caused my 73" DLP Mitsubishi to not power up. I did a google search for repair shops in Bartlett area, and was impressed by the 4.5 stars, as opposed to other area repair services. My call was placed, and within moments I was called back and within 2 hours had the owner come in and do an in home diagnostic. I was extrememly impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, as well as his pleasant personality and prompt diagnosis and overall service. The exceptional service he provided restored my faith in repairmen, and I will always recommend his service to anyone in the future.
I own a high-end NAD receiver ($700) that was making a buzzing sound for about 30 minutes upon start-up. Custom Electronics fixed this very quickly within one week, but there was still a static-like sound coming from all the speakers when listening to a digital source. We took the receiver back to Custom and they took care of this problem at no charge and updated the firmware on the receiver, too. My receiver is now working better than ever and I am extremely satisfied with the service I received. True professionals!
