        GTS does testing on soil samples to determine whether they follow certain determinants. The have a fully functioning lab with qualified analysts to do the work. They are accessible and friendly.

        The GTS team tests soil samples from all over the country for porosity and density and a ton of other tests I can not pronounce. If you are going to build, better give them a call.

        When I was on the school board, GTS was introduced to us through the building contractor, as a soil testing service to determine if the building lot was buildable. They had a number of field testing units they used to take samples and then test them at a laboratory. It was very interesting.
