I joined BAAC on a 3 month pass for water therapy after a recent knee replacement. The first visit showed the pool well lit and clean after 2 weeks (30 minutes 3 x a week I developed a sore on my surgical knee. the pool was dark in the evenings children under 10 were swimming and playing unattended , I complained multiply times to staff about the pool and extremely strong smell of chemicals, So I reported them because I developed a serious reaction to what ever was in that water and the owner refunded 49 dollars and wrote on the check that I was banned from the property .. horrible place an poor management. Not a way to run a business.

Previous member 2+ yrs. High member prices, hot tubs always out of order (a week at a time), can't run jets during pool classes, pool is overrun by classes, not enough adult lap swim, steam room smells of mildew and never see staff in the weight room helping newbies that don't know what they are doing with the weight machines...unless it's another class. Owner makes a killing on the place, really needs to reinvest some money into it.

Built as a racket ball club in the late 70's, it really shows it's age. Good place to go If you know what you are doing. Not so good if you don't. Classes are held in the old courts.
