Salem Place is wonderful. I spent many hours visiting my mother and older sister here. They loved living here and i was always impressed with the staff and how they cared for the people that called this place home. It was always very clean and the dining rooms and food are far above what other nursing homes offer. I would allow another family member to live here with full confidence in the staff.

The reason for the one star review is that the last few times ive been to visit my mother, a young female CNA is always smoking pot in her car in the parking lot. I have reported it, nothing was done and she continues to get high in full view of everyone. Its scary to think that salem place would allow drug use by the people who are taking care of our loved ones.
