So I am an upscale shopper who tends to purchase most of my clothes and bags at Saks or when I travel. I had never heard of this place until my friend gave me an adorable shirt from here. It was a little tight, so I went to go exchange the shirt and do some new shopping at a fun new store. They have a crazy policy that indicates I cannot exchange the shirt for a different size because she bought it on sale. The employee was quite definitive about this and was not friendly; it was early in the morning so it's not like she was busy to have put on a more pleasant face. I'm not entirely sure how a store can stay in business with a policy like this, especially since there are so many wonderful online upscale stores, most of which offer free shipping and returns, and Chicago is so close. They lost a potential high end shopper based on their unwillingness to consider an exchange. Definitely their loss, not mine, as the shirt fits it's just a little tight. I was frankly planning on doing shopping because there was cute things in the store, but never would do that now!!

This review is regarding an order I placed through their online shop. I paid using paypal when I placed the order on a Wednesday. Did not receive a shipping confirmation email. I waited a week with no package so I tried calling, no response. I emailed them the following Wednesday and found out they had not shipped my package yet, their website states all product will ship in 2 business days. They did not provide a reason for why my package was delayed.They promised they would ship the next day. No shipment confirmation the next day so I emailed them again and asked to have a refund, the following Friday they claimed the package was already shipped and refused to refund my purchase. Right after this email I received the shipping confirmation. The confirmation from USPS said it was mailed out that day. I spoke with the owner and he refused to give a refund or take full responsibility for the issue, he tried to peg part of the blame on USPS and claimed they had a lot of orders and could not fulfill them in a timely manner, he offered a $50 credit that I declined, I would have rather paid full price and dealt with a professional store.They receive one star for bad customer service, slow shipping, lack of communication, inaccurate claims on their website. Maybe the brick and mortar store is better, but after talking with the owner who offered no solutions to the problem, I would avoid this store. Also their return policy lacks clarity, using a discount code made my purchase ineligible for refund AND exchange. Heaven forbid you order the wrong shoe size and get stuck with it. Stay away!
